Our story of love
What began as a project for the community of Braddock has grown to serve all families who make their way to us. We provide items and support, and we strive to change individual relationships with material goods while combating poverty through empowerment.

Please note that while we have inspired similar initiatives in dozens of other communities, we are not directly affiliated with any other Free Store at this time.

We are active and engaged members of Braddock and the surrounding communities.

We work together with community members to create a welcoming atmosphere where people can shop for or donate free items.

We are proud to be 100% volunteer run, solar powered and sustainable.
Red Lantern Bike Shop
We share space with the Red Lantern Bike Ship, which is operated by a group of amazing volunteers. They receive broken and unused bikes, refurbish them and then redistribute them back to the community.
